Homeowners Under 65/Not Collecting Social Security Disability/Railroad Retirement Disability Benefits and Renters

Most eligible New Jersey homeowners under 65 and not collecting Social Security Disability/Railroad Retirement Disability Benefits and most eligible New Jersey renters of all ages will have their ANCHOR applications filed automatically on their behalf by the Division.

On August 10, 2026, we sent qualifying taxpayers their ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letter with details about their upcoming filing. If you did not receive an ANCHOR Benefit Confirmation Letter, you may file an Application for Property Tax Relief on your own.
